The owner is Lowell Tilley, who grew up there. It was his grandfather’s farm.

The name came from an old wagon road that went down the mountain about 80 or more years ago. The path, Pells Gap, the old road followed can still be seen.

The plan is to develop a subdivision that will be a part of the community, not a separate community. Pells Gap will be a new neighborhood, great addition to the existing community.
